Any individual affected by any notice, docket call, setting, or subpoena who is required to appear in the 84th District Court and:
is over age 65
has serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma,
or whose immune systems are compromised such as by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy
should contact the 84th District Court Coordinator, Mrs. Jan Lewis, at 806-878-4022 in order to make alternative arrangements for their appearance in Court. Any request for alternative appearance may be approved only by the presiding judge.

Welcome to the 84th District Court
The 84th District Court is a multi-county court of general jurisdiction serving Ochiltree, Hansford, and Hutchinson Counties. The Court handles felony criminal cases, all types of family matters, and civil disputes within the district.
The Judge of the Court is Curt W. Brancheau. Judge Brancheau was sworn into office on January 3, 2017 after being elected on November 8th, 2016.
The Court Coordinator is Jan Lewis, the Court Reporter is Debbie Martin, and the Bailiff is Jack Dupy.
